Central Support Team (CST)

The Central Support Team of the KALLIPOS initiative consists of more than 25 collaborators from a diverse group of specialties, including informatics, language editing, graphic design, technical editing, economics, library processing and a legal support department.

Our Team is responsible for managing the workflows and supporting all the Contributors of the Project.

Professor NTUA

Nikola(o)s Mitrou has been a faculty member of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NTUA since 1989 and a full Professor since 2000. He has been teaching and conducting research work in the fields of Broadband Telecommunications, Multimedia Communications, and Knowledge Representation and Management.

During the period 2012-2023, Prof. Mitrou concentrated his efforts on several nation-wide initiatives within Higher Education Institutions with a goal of upgrading the digital services of the Greek academic libraries and fostering open access to research and educational material. A large part of this effort was devoted to the KALLIPOS project.
